OUR PURPOSE

Empowering Women. Investing in Children.

Hands of Hope is a community-focused ministry based in Uganda, committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable and underserved communities by empowering women, educating children, and creating sustainable opportunities for families.

Through initiatives in education, sustainable agriculture, vocational training, leadership development, and maternal wellness, Hands of Hope works to strengthen families, promote self-reliance, and build healthier, more resilient communities.

With a focus on long-term impact, Hands of Hope equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive, creating opportunities for lasting change for women, children, and future generations.

Mothers Love Recovery Home

As part of its commitment to supporting women, Hands of Hope is developing Mother’s Love Recovery Home, a six-bed, women-centred recovery and wellness facility in Uganda.

The home is being designed to provide a safe, supportive, and dignified space where women can rest, recover, and begin again. Planned services include prenatal and postnatal support, newborn care, lactation assistance, counselling, and wellness services.

By supporting mothers during pregnancy and after childbirth, Mother’s Love Recovery Home aims to promote physical and emotional recovery while helping women care for themselves and their babies with greater confidence.

The home is envisioned as a social enterprise under Hands of Hope, with profits reinvested into the organisation’s wider community programmes and initiatives.
